I just got back from temple tonight. I was there a lot later than usual, because after services, they served a Shabbat dinner to say goodbye to Rabbi L and welcome the new one, Rabbi B. I'm currently reading a collection of Stephen King's short stories that was lying around the house, so for the past few nights I was wide-awake at 2 a.m., jumping at the slightest noises. Last Tuesday night, I worked a close and forgot my keys in my locker at work. Grandma gave me even more pecans, so I made a batch of pecan pie muffins all for me. That sounds very greedy, I know, but I made so many to give to other people at Thanksgiving and Christmas, it felt really good to make a batch just for me.
